01 - About

Who I Am

I'm Waris - a full-stack web developer and IT professional from Matanog, Maguindanao del Norte. I currently design, build, and maintain mission-critical government systems at DSWD Region 12 under the PDBBM program.

I specialize in end-to-end web applications that solve real-world problems - from case tracking platforms to inventory management systems used daily by social workers and government field personnel across the region.

I grew up in a family of eight, raised by a farmer father whose quiet and unbreakable determination gave us a chance at a better life. That foundation shapes how I build: every system is purposeful, built to last, and made for the people who need it most.

I believe great software should be invisible - it just works, scales, and empowers without getting in the way.

Morsalin Cadal Sabidin
Father · Farmer · The Pillar of the Family
Morsalin is a farmer who built his family's future with calloused hands and an unbreakable will. Through every harvest and every hardship, he worked his land and poured everything into giving his eight children an education. He raised his family not with wealth, but with pag-asa and pagmamahal - hope and love. Waris carries that story into every system he builds.

🏛 Heritage - Lidasan of Maguindanao del Norte
The Lidasan family is one of the historic noble clans of the Iranun people of Matanog and Parang - the indigenous seafarers known historically as the "Vikings of Asia." The Iranun were the founding core of the Sultanate of Maguindanao and formed the heart of its maritime power for centuries.

The Lidasans trace their lineage to Sultan Lidasan of Bugasan - a historical sultanate within the Iranun domain. The family has produced peace advocates, scholars, and public servants across generations, carrying forward a legacy of leadership, courage, and cultural pride rooted deep in the Bangsamoro homeland.
